I’m Tim. I was drawn to barbering in 2013 for many reasons; the history of the trade, the role a barbershop plays in a community, the aesthetic of hair and shape and style, the relationship between hair and music, and the sense of self-expression. Most of all, however, was the opportunity to connect with a wide range of people.
People are fascinating, complex and diverse. Knowing people and being known is one of the most meaningful things we participate in. I love the space the barber chair provides to speak and listen, all while sorting out the hair of the person currently occupying it.
